CONVERSATIONS WITH CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS: ABELARDO MORELL
The High presents an evening with photographer Abelardo Morell. The Cuban-born photographer will discuss the trajectory of his career, beginning with early photographs of his children to innovative explorations with the mesmerizing principles of optics. Having explored a variety of experimental techniques, including the tent-camera and the camera obscura, Morell combines his artistic perspective with the wonder of science in his quest to find new ways to make photographs.
