NYC OPERA TRIP SPRING 2014- HI ART! CAMP: RUSALKA

The Posse enjoyed a 5 1/2 hour Rusalka Art Camp.  Cyndie and her daughter Zoe led the kids through an exploration of the libretto, viewed portions of a very contemporary production of Rusalka, and taught them how do a Watercolor and Manga piece featuring Rusalka.   The camp was supposed to be 4 hours, but when the parents arrived to pick up the girls, they exclaimed “WE ARE NOWHERE NEAR DONE!!” and continued to slowly and carefully continue their art instruction and individual projects.  After an extra 1 1/2 hours, they were close enough to being done to be OK with leaving the studio.
