Fabian worked out a very stressful situation with Cameron- the came together today to paint a new mural together.  It was a very powerful thing for Cameron to reach out to Fabian, apologize, and show up to collab on a new piece that is better than before!  Glad I stopped by!  ✊🏽

Some white fella named Cameron Reno, ya know @renolikethecity, decided to paint his tag over 3 civil rights icon. I painted Martin Luther King Jr as Professor X, Malcolm X as Magneto, and James Baldwin as The Human Torch. I did this because the @xmen is based on MLK (think Professor X who was willing to negotiate) and Malcolm X (Magneto wasn't bout that, rough childhood, etc) and then James Baldwin because of The Fire Next Time. This happened in Atlanta tho. I don't do public murals to make my name famous. All of my murals are political in nature. I deal with race, government, education, etc. I have questions. If all my murals are political, when you deface one of my murals, what are you saying about me? What are you saying about the icons? What are you saying yourself and your views on black people? What are you saying about your friends who are black, who have managed to be in a better position because of the people you painted over. You want to be famous Cameron Reno? You're about to be. Please let @renolikethecity know what you think about what he did? Remember, you wanted this.
