THE PINAKOTHEKEN: WERNER AISSLINGER: HOUSE OF WONDERS
Designer Werner Aisslinger (b. 1964 in Nördlingen) will develop a new project specifically for the unusual architecture of the Pinakothek der Moderne’s Paternoster Hall. Based in Berlin and internationally acclaimed, Werner Aisslinger is a furniture designer whose interests lie in the form and accoutrement of living and working environments. Facets of sustainability, upcycling, material innovations and indoor farming have all influenced his designs. For his Munich exhibition, Aisslinger plans to present a comprehensive vision for living that incorporates the contemporary and ambivalent theme of big data. Werner Aisslinger follows Konstantin Grcic, whose exhibition kicked off a new series in the Paternoster Hl.
