HARRY POTTER LAUNCH PARTY @ BARNES & NOBLE UNION SQUARE
Harry Potter hooligans and super-fans gathered worldwide in anticipation of 12 Midnight on July 31st when the new Harry Potter Book would be released. I spent it at Barnes & Noble in Union Square enjoying the slightly cheesy shenanigans and festivities, as well as hiding under a fixture furiously doing my Kumon so my mom would buy me the book AND all of the Harry Potter Funko POP Figures I picked out. I managed to get it all done by midnight and walked away with a shopping bag of Harry Potter loot, and before leaving the store being interviewed by The Associated Press. A great time was had by all.
